Direct to Garment (DTG)

Direct to Garment (DTG) printing is a modern digital printing method that applies your design directly onto the fabric. Similar to how an inkjet printer works on paper, DTG printers spray specialized water-based inks directly into the garment fibers, creating vibrant prints with exceptional detail.

Because the ink becomes part of the fabric, the finished design has a soft, lightweight feel with virtually no texture. DTG printing is ideal for artwork with complex details, gradients, and multiple colors that would be difficult to reproduce using traditional screen printing.

At DEX Custom Apparel, we use high-resolution DTG technology capable of printing designs up to 5760 DPI, ensuring crisp, vibrant results on both light and dark garments.

While DTG printing typically costs slightly more than screen printing, it’s the perfect solution for smaller runs, custom pieces, and highly detailed designs.
